Our little baby!

Look how cute! I just had my 12 week ultrasound yesterday and the baby is starting to look like a real baby! Matt came this time and it was so nice to have him there. We were both really excited!

The lady doing the ultrasound shook the heck out of my uterus with her wand thing to try to make the baby move, and it worked! The baby was moving her little arms up and down- I almost died of cuteness! I guess I just never thought about the fact that they would be able to move around when they're this small.. so that's the little arm and hand (and fingers!) waving to us!

Our little peanut!
This is what she looked like at my ultrasound around 7 1/2 weeks. Aunt Jilli nick named her baby dolphin! I can't believe how much development has happened in just over a month..

So I call her a "her" even though we don't know if she's a she yet, but I don't like calling her an "it". So until we find out (in like 7 weeks!) she will remain a "she" is my mind.

So I am starting to feel a little better these days- not good, but better. I can eat a bigger variety of food now which is sooo nice. It has been such a blessing that I've been on winter break until today! All I did was lay on the couch and sleep and whine a lot about how sick I felt, and it all got really boring but it was so good that I didn't have to be in school or working becuase I would have died. And I just have to say that Matt has been, above and beyond, the sweetest husband in the world! I don't want to say I'm surprised at how great he's been , but it has just really amazed me that for 6 solid weeks he has had so much patience and been so self sacrificing for me. He practically jumps up to get me anything and everything I want and need with a smile on his face, usually telling me how cute I am or something, even when I'm hideous. He treats me like his little princess and he never acts frustrated or tired of it. If he is tired of it, he doesn't show it and I just love him. The end. For now..

FACIAL TIME!

Since Jillian is in Esthetician School right now, all of us lucky family members have had the privilege of being her guinea pigs! She gives the most amazing cleansing facials, which is like a great face massage, along with a shoulder, hand, and arm massage. Here's Matt getting his first- I was so jealous watching, I can't wait to get another!
P.S. Any guy that thinks facials are only for ladies is only cheating himself out of a great experience. Says Matt, "It's like a massage.. Who doesn't want a massage?" I agree Matt. I agree. So, if you should feel inclined to treat yourself to a facial experience of a lifetime at an extremely reasonable price, you know who to call!

Happy B-day to me, HOLL-E!!!

Matt got me Wall-E for by birthday and we just put it on to watch! We just love this movie and I wanted to shout from the roof tops that we're watching it because it's so cute, but I decided just to send it out to the blogging world.... I LOVE WALL-E!!!

Disneyland!

Disneyland.. ahhhhhh... so happy :)This one is for you Meg...Boys with their sticks o' meat...... Boys with their guns
The castle had lights that looked like icicles- it was so pretty. Right when I got my camera out the lights went off! I think it still looks gorgeous though.

Mickey Mouse Rock

The week that Ivy and Karl moved (and took all my precious babies with them) I spent a lot of time with them. Karl drove up a week before Ivy and the kids, so they were all staying with my parents and Jilli for about a week. I went over there almost every day after school and one of the days I took Joe and Ben up "Mickey Mouse Rock", my little beloved mountain that I used to hike all the time when I lived in Santee. Anyways I took a few cute pics I thought I'd share.. Enjoy!

"I made an instrument!" said Ben. He found a stick that was bent exactly like a triangle- he even had a little stick to play his triangle.. so cute :)

"Aunt Holly when are we going to get to the top?" I kept pointing out a rock that was solidly painted with orange spray paint to show them when we would be there.

Little Joe- he was REALLY tired. His legs were even "breaking".... right... :)

Ahh at long last... the blessed orange rock!

Picnic at the top..

Dear old Abbey girl

They were happy once we got to the top!
